Fall Themes are the Best Themes

My first Thirty-One party was a success!

Of course my hostess, being the natural event planner that she is, had the perfect fall decorations and treats set up to add to the fall themed ambiance we were going for.

Seven of our closest friends showed up and it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with everyone over apple cider (or a few champagne cocktails) and food.

My Product Essentials

For those of you who have never used Thirty-One products before I wanted to introduce you to the products that I currently use in my life and then give you a preview of the items that are soon to go into my cart in my upcoming blog ;)

I am definitely a tote girl and I STILL don't think I have enough. 

I know I have said this before but I use them for everything! Organizing, carrying food, groceries, and even dirty laundry. One tote is just for my clothes that need to go the dry cleaners. When I am ready to go I just grab the tote and I am off! 

My favorite recent purchase is the Perfect Party Thermal Set.

 It is absolutely perfect for lugging casseroles and party dips to Football Saturdays. 

It keeps your food warm or cold and fits two 9 x 13 dishes. 

I also personalized it with our last name Roberts in platinum silver thread and it looks so great with the new vintage damask pattern!

I also own the lunch break thermal (However it is not in this new pattern and I LOVE everything about Parisian Garden.) This is a must purchase for me in the new look.

Now for my luggage and beauty traveling sets. In my previous job I would travel all the time to conferences and I loved packing my items in Thirty-One's luggage set. My luggage looked great AND kept me organized the entire time. 

Even now that I am not traveling for work I still find that I use the duffle bags and beauty traveling kits all the time! 

Whether it's visiting friends for the weekend or going to stay overnight with family, I pack everything in my personalized Thirty-One weekender. Again, my pattern that I own isn't available anymore but this Parisian Garden pattern is everything right now. 

Along with my weekender I pack all of my beauty supplies in the hanging traveler case. I actually continue to keep all of my makeup essentials in this bag and just hang it on my vanity. It's perfect!

Lastly, when packing for a vacation I keep all of my jewelry and accessories in the Thirty-One jewelry keeper. Again, this is one of those items that even when I am not traveling I keep hanging in the bedroom. When I'm ready to travel I just zip the entire thing up and I am good to go!

My Very First Thirty-One Event

Ahhhh ladies! I booked my very first Thirty-One event for September 16th! Okay, let's be serious - my best friend is hosting it for me so that's not too surprising. But still! My very first event!

(Also, disclaimer: My grammar through out these blog entries will not be perfect! I hate reading blogs that are written like a college essay. I want to write to you as if we were in the same room gossiping over a cup of wine....errr I mean coffee).

Now back to what I was saying, this is a big step for me in my Thirty-One venture!

Thankfully, those who will be in attendance are my best friends so if I mess up or look like I don't know what I am talking about they won't care. It's all about experience and learning as I go since this is only day 3 of being a Thirty-One consultant.

My event isn't about making a sale. It's about getting together with my best girlfriends, drinking wine, eating pumpkin flavored deserts (YES IT'S FINALLY FALL!) and offering them the opportunity to buy a really amazing product. I LOVE attending Thirty-One parties. Ladies night and shopping? Count me in every time.

This month's deal is actually great because the product that is on sale is basically my favorite and the product that I own the most quantities of. I have three deluxe utility totes and I use them for everything. Stacking towels, carrying food for potlucks, keeping the things in my car nice and organized...it holds everything!

Also, who doesn't love totes?! I am a very organized person by nature but even if you weren't these big guys are perfect to get you started!

SIMPLIFY your life to be happier and more content. Many studies show that the less cluttered you are the less stress you have. Life is stressful enough! Why make it even worse with being messy?

Girls, if you say you don't care I know you have an organization board on Pinterest! We all dream about being more organized and every New Years I am sure this is one of your resolutions (besides losing 10lbs - let's be serious - we are women. We all strive for the same things). Don't lie to me ;)

Choosing Thirty-One:

As a young professional and a newlywed, I understand how busy we can get and how fast life passes you by. Sometimes the things we want most in life can get lost along the way. Because of this I want to help motivate other young women to chase their dreams and find their ambition. I believe Thirty-One is the the perfect organization to channel these goals and aid women with organizing, simplifying and classifying along the way. 

I have personally used Thirty-One products for the past few years and I am amazed at the quality and wide range of uses each product is designed for. Whether you are a businesswoman or a stay at home mom, Thirty-One’s products are the perfect solution to simplify your life. Life is hectic and if I can find any product or strategy to simplify my life and make things easier for me than I will utilize it religiously. 

I recently chose to become a part of the Thirty-One organization due to their incredible philosophy of empowering women through “Confidence, Compassion, & Community.” This mantra speaks to me on many levels because it is so hard to get through life without believing in yourself and to do so you must have confidence in your ability to succeed. Without compassion you lose sight of what is most important in your life and to me that is the love of my family and friends. I strive to show compassion in every instance in my life whether it be one a professional or personal level. Lastly, community: having a strong community supporting me is essential to my success and personal growth. Without these philosophies I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Another reason I chose to become an independent consultant for Thirty-One is because of their charitable donations to The Ronald McDonald House Foundation through Thirty-One Gives. My Aunt and family stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati, Ohio for many months when my cousin was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma as a baby. He is now in remission and is in high school! The Ronald McDonald House also hosted my husband’s family when his sister was also sick as a baby. It is an amazing organization that is near and dear to my family and helps thousands of other families just like mine every year.

By becoming a Thirty-One consultant my goals are to form new friendships, provide inspiration and add supplemental income for my family as a way to pay for student loan debt. Why not find a way to help pay for expenses through an organization that stands behind your shared morals and philosophies? Money isn't everything but as I have previously stated through out this blog my ultimate goal is to simplify. One way my husband and I are choosing to simplify our lives is by cutting down on our student loan debt. 

There are numerous reasons to join Thirty-One and/or purchase their products but these are my foundational reasonings behind my new venture. I don't know if this will be my new career move or if I will only occasionally host parties every few months. I do know that I have never been a direct sales individual for Mary Kay, Advocare, or anything of that nature. I always thought it was a little off putting to beg my friends to buy something. (Not anything against selling ladies! I promise I love attending parties and purchasing from my friends. This was just a weird opinion I had when I was younger and you know what it was from? Lacking confidence! I didn't have the confidence to sell those products like so many amazing people have before me).  Presently, I use Thirty-One products every day in my life and I love everything the brand stands for. It seemed like the right time to utilize my passion for inspiring others while offering a quality and amazing product.

Also, even if you are in the next town over or in another state there are still ways to host Thirty-One parties! One of my favorite events I ever attended was a Thirty-One social media party that was hosted all through Facebook! I curled up in my pajamas, had a chilled glass of wine, "played games" with my girlfriends through the FB group and purchased fun new organizing totes! The ideas for parties are endless!

Remember by simplifying the things around you, life gets easier and a little more fun.
